If your special event took time, required a lot of money, and was a near logistical nightmare to assemble, then make sure you take some pictures of it! Go ahead. Get an experienced photographer to add some flash to the awards presentation or to capture the important speech makers… After all, doesn’t your event deserve to have these great moments (moments that you worked so hard to create by the way) documented properly?
Please don’t think of it as “splurging” on a budget item you can’t afford. In this world, image is everything. And you can’t afford to not prove that your event was awesome!
